Auggie Love...

Auggie on the left Archie (my friend Sean's Argus, on the right).
In case you haven't met Auggie from a previous post, he's my Argus C3 Rangefinder. I actually got some of my friends searching out their own Argus cameras so they can appreciate all that they have to offer. I've been busy with art shows and everything as of late and I kind of neglected him. So, I decided to take him out for a bit and take some photos. Of course he did not disappoint :)
Chicago River from Downtown Chicago.

My view from the Lawrence Red Line "El" stop facing east.

My view from the base of the John Hancock building.

In preparation for the newest Escapism Art Show, Dia de los Muertos, Vince and I went to Rosehill Cemetery to take in the scenery and do a little head stone hunting. We didn't locate any famous graves, but I did get a chance to capture some amazing photos. Here's a sneak peek of what I plan on exhibiting. Enjoy!

Bah de dah.. Say do you remember? Bah de dah..Dancing in September? Bah de dah..Never was a cloudy day!!!

Gotta love vanity mirror photo ops :)

September came and went by so fast!!! So many amazing photo opportunities to be had! And of course, I took advantage of them all :)

First up, is Ali and Kevin's wedding...

Kevin and Ali. 09.10.11

The wedding took place in Toledo, OH at Ali's grandparents' backyard. The guests were allowed to wear Converse chucks or cowboy boots. Guess what I chose????
Mel and I showing off our cowboy boots :)

Ali worked really hard making crane origami by hand. Her efforts definitely did not go to waste...

Beautiful decorations!
Melinda felt compelled to take a photo of the cranes. I felt compelled to take on of her :)
All in all, it was one of the most beautiful and wonderful wedding that I got a chance to attend. I was so happy to be invited to witness it.

Ali you're so beautiful!!!!

Next up, my friend Alex Puryear's art exhibit with All Eyes On Art ....

Me and Alex :)
I'm so proud of you, Alex!!!

The next great photo op for me was going to a Chicago Cubs game one last time before the season ended.

Go Cubbies!!!!
A very good friend of mine was selling Bleachers seats at a Cubs game for a fundraiser. The day was simply amazing. A perfect day for a baseball game. I started off the day over at Murphy's Bar, literally right across the street from the Bleachers entrance to Wrigley Field. The rest is history :)

It was a great game! I got to spend time with great friends, eat good food, and the Cubs won! What more can I ask for to end an amazing month? Oh yeah! This.....

Check out the piggy toes!!!!
Jonah and Whitney had the baby!!!! Welcome little Sawyer Samir Lindzius! I'm sorry that Auntie Roanne went all paparazzi on you. Don't worry, you'll get used to it :)
